In 1985, the company expanded its range of services to include the disposal of oil-water mixtures and cooling lubricants (emulsions). In 1990, PetrolPlus GmbH was founded, specialising in the production and marketing of low-sulphur recycled middle oil (DIN middle oil) and other environmentally friendly fuels. In 1995, RVM Mannheim GmbH was added, specialising in the recycling of electroplating and grinding sludge.

The diversification of the GLASS Group continued in 2000 with the incorporation of UFO Rohrreinigungsdienst GmbH, which introduced comprehensive pipe and sewer cleaning services as well as industrial cleaning services and oil separator emptying. In 1997, Fuchs Entsorgungsfachbetrieb GmbH was founded, which specialised in container services, construction waste disposal and secure document destruction and has been a subsidiary of the Group since 2020. The founding of Zache Entsorgung AG in 2003 opened up Saarland with its own collection logistics and recycling facilities as well as a container service. In 2022, the company acquired a holding in Rockstroh GmbH, which rounds off the Group's portfolio with services for rubbish bin cleaning, rat control and street cleaning for mostly municipal clients.

Today, the family-run GLASS Group coordinates the activities of its associated companies throughout Germany and Switzerland from its headquarters in Mannheim. With a clear focus on the circular economy and energy transition, the group faces the challenges of these areas with passion, expertise and innovation. Continuous strategic investments as well as ongoing development and research promote the competitiveness of the individual companies and ensure a balanced relationship within the overall portfolio.
